Major: Accounting, Business Technology Management, Transportation and Logistics, and Real Estate (Year 4)

Role in Club: As this year’s president, I will be overseeing the organization of conferences, workshops, charity events and newsletters we’ve especially planned for our BizTech members.

About Me: I am ambitious, hardworking, optimistic, and very approachable. I love tennis, Japanese Animation, TV sitcoms, HGTV, Business Week, Fortune and Real Estate development books.

Viola Pang | Vice President, Finance

Major: Accounting, Business Technology Management, and International Business (Year 4)

Role in Club: As Vice President, Finance, I deal with all money matters for the Club, including budgeting and reimbursements.

About Me: I am a friendly and helpful individual who is open to sharing my experiences with others. During my free time, I like to travel and engage in photography.

Kerri Mak | Vice President, Corporate Relations

Major: Business Technology Management (Year 3)

Role in Club: I am the Vice President, Corporate Relations. My main role is to reach out as much as I can, to liaise and secure firms and corporates for sponsorship and support. I also assist in speaker and alumae engagement for our events, to enhance a diversified environment for our valued members.

About Me: Open-minded, easy-going and forward-looking person with perseverance. I am fascinated by innovative ideas, and sports movement, art design, and technology development. I especially enjoy playing badminton & ultimate, and also video games!

Benson Luu | Vice President, Marketing

Intended Major: Accounting and Business Technology Management (Year 2)

Role in Club: I created our new and improved website! I am responsible in maintaining our website with up to date information, along with managing our social media channels. I collaborate with Kate, our Vice President, Media, and together, we are responsible for creating a fantastic BizTech presence.

Joyce Cheung | Vice President, Internal

Major: Combined Major in Business and Computer Science (Year 5)

Role in Club: As this year’s Vice President, Internal, I look forward to working with the club executives to ensure that our members find our events educational, valuable, and most of all, enjoyable.

About Me: I enjoy travelling and recently went on a staggered 2.5month backpacking adventure in Asia during my exchange in Singapore. I love to indulge in Vancouver’s multicultural culinary delights and to discover nature through a camera lens.

Role in Club: As Vice President, Engagement, my goal is to get existing and new members to contribute to and participate BizTech’s events.

Chase Lee | Vice President, Case

Intended Major: Marketing and Business Technology Management (Year 3)

Role in Club: As the Case Competition Director, I am responsible for coordinating and training for Case IT, APEX and ICBC candidate selection.

About Me: I’m friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy spending my life working out, playing basketball and training in martial arts (Taekwondo, MMA and boxing).

Ryanna Yang | Vice President, Logistics

Role in Club: I am the Vice President, Logistics, who will provide all the supplies for every event throughout the year.

Gary Leung | Vice President, Academic

Major: Combined Major in Business and Computer Science, and Transportation and Logistics (Year 3)

Role in Club: As Vice President, Academic, my role is to connect to the student body by providing updates on current industry trends for BTM through and any information regarding the BTM specialization through our monthly newsletter.

About Me: As seen through my specialization, I love using computers, even in my spare time, you can find me taking apart and reassembling my computer! But I do spend time hitting up the slopes to snowboard in the winter time and enjoying the sunshine in the summer!

About Me: I try to live life to experience all its wonders; roaming free along foreign shores, sampling the cities of sunnier climes, the mountains and skies I have only read about in vacation destination 101 brochures. As a side note, I’m friendly and easily amused so it shouldn’t be hard to talk to me.
