ProduHacks is a product hackathon that will be hosted in partnership with EY's Product division.

UBC BizTech's product-focused competition aims to encourage students to focus on the 'why' behind a product and prototype an application for a problem. This 2-day event aims to touch every possible aspect of what a PM does - from discovering the problem, identifying a solution, getting feedback, iterating, and presenting to key stakeholders to gain traction for their idea!

💼 Relevant Industry Focused Case

Choose from 3 tracks and hack a solution to a problem faced in the metaverse. Be out on the lookout as tracks will be revealed once you are accepted into the hackathon!

🤝 Create a welcoming Tech Community

Come with 2-3 friends or sign up alone to be put into a team and connect with other tech enthusiasts at UBC’s first in-person product hackathon!

👦 Learn from experienced Product Managers and Tech Mentors

Product managers from all over EY and Vancouver will be there guiding and helping you throughout the entire experience through drop-in sessions available throughout the hackathon!

🧐 Focus on the Product Journey Instead of the Final Product

No previous experience is required! We welcome both junior and senior participants with an interest in learning more about product management. Regardless of the final result, we guarantee you’ll leave the hackathon learning something.

  • 💸 $500 each
  • 🧠 Interview for Summer 2022 Co-Op Product Analyst & Product Engineer Role at EY

All participants will be eligible to win mini-prizes throughout the hackathon!
