TESTIMONIALS

I learned the whole process of learning how to build my startup. When I joined this program I knew that I wanted to build my own start up here in Canada and the thing that Benny my mentor we met up every week to try and formalize it. He taught me how to go out and talk to potential client and the processes of turning my ideas into a proper startup. I couldn’t ask for a better mentor, I really appreciate it and that is what has made me who I am today, I’m grateful to Benny and I still am in contact with him and are still in touch, I wouldn't come this far without him, thank-you biztech for giving me this best opportunity

Mentee
As a senior mentee for BizTech’s Tri-Mentorship Program, I had the opportunity to mentor two junior mentors, as well as connect with a professional working at the same company I ended up joining a year later. The program allowed me to give back to the community by contributing to my junior peers’ professional development, as well as build a friendship with some of my future co-workers. I think one of the best qualities of BizTech’s mentorship program is that much care and attention is put into matching you with mentors who are in your prospective industry. In this way, whatever you take away from the program is relevant to your own career development.

Senior Mentee
The BizTech Mentorship Program was a deeply rewarding opportunity to support the next generation of multi-disciplinary leaders, whose balanced perspectives are increasingly important for solving today’s and tomorrow’s complex problems. I matched with Emily, a bright and naturally-empathetic young woman seeking to optimize communication within diverse, fast-paced teams to give her organization the advantage of speed. Our honest conversations helped Emily own her strengths, realize her value, and secure her first professional role. Mentorship sometimes involves guiding someone on a similar path to your own, but it’s far more valuable to guide someone’s mindset and behaviour while they walk their own path.
