The BizTech website was born!
2015/2016
During this notable year, BizTech’s membership increased by 600% and the club was awarded the Commerce Undergraduate Society’s “Large Club of the Year” for the first time.
BizTech hosts the first ever “ThinkTech” in collaboration with Deloitte. This event was the first ever UBC case competition to feature real clients.
2018 - 2019

2019 - 2020
This 27 person executive team hosted Blueprint at the AMS Nest laying the foundation for the scale BluePrint has achieved today.
BizTech runs “World of Animation” an event centered around animation technology featuring artists from Sony
2020 - 2021
Due to the Pandemic, events were moved online and memberships were free. BizTech grew from 250 to 1000 members ranging from universities and countries around the world. BizTech launched “Produthon”, a product management hackathon, now rebranded to ProduHacks.
BizTech’s Development Team built an in-house event registration platform allowing members to register and interact with BizTech’s events.
2021 - 2022
During this hybrid year, BizTech experienced a transition back from virtual to in-person events.
2022 - 2023
New events emerged including Data & Beyond, InnoVent (business × engineering comp), and a Tesla-partnership with a Tesla VP coming to Blueprint.
2023 - 2024
Introduced our first UX and Fashion Tech event, released a BluePrint Wrapped dev feature, and the Grandparent (advisor) team was born
2024 - 2025
Dev created a one-touch connection NFC card to make networking easy as ever. BluePrint was held at Robson Square, with LinkedIn corporate influencers as speakers. This very Biztech archival page was created to preserve our history!
